Results look off
Themes lag by design, follow-ups are selective, and template generation needs a reachable page.
- No themes yet, or themes feel stale: synthesis needs completed, non-test conversations and runs after every 5th completion. Click Refresh on the Results tab to run it now. Themes are built from follow-up answers, so very short conversations produce fewer of them.
- The AI asked no follow-ups: that is often correct behavior. It probes at most twice per conversation and only when an answer gives it something worth pursuing; a question that fails validation twice, or takes longer than its 3 second budget, quietly becomes an advance. Check the Agent activity panel and transcripts to see its decisions.
- Follow-ups falling forward a lot: look at Live Failures on the Agent activity panel. A sustained failure rate triggers a one-time Slack degradation alert; transient spikes settle on their own.
- A conversation is missing from stats: test conversations are always excluded from results, themes, and NPS.
- Template generation stuck or failed: generation takes 20 to 40 seconds while the button shows Researching...; give it that long. "Template generation failed. Try again" means the page could not be fetched or read. Check the URL is public, then retry, or try a simpler page like your homepage.
