In the Templates for your business section of the dashboard, paste a public URL (your homepage or a product page) and click Generate. Candor fetches the page, reads its content, and drafts 3 study templates tailored to that business. Generation typically takes 20 to 40 seconds; the button shows Researching... while it runs.
Each template includes a name, a tagline, a summary of the business as Candor understood it, an objective briefing for the AI interviewer, and 2 to 3 anchor questions. Create a study from any of them, then edit anything before going live.
If generation fails
Generation needs a publicly reachable page. If the site blocks the fetch, redirects too much, or responds with an error, you will see "Template generation failed. Try again". Check the URL is public and correct, then retry; a different page on the same site (for example the homepage instead of a login-gated page) often works.
