Share links and source tracking
Every study has a permanent link. Add ?ref= to tag where each response came from.
Every study has a permanent share link on its Recruit tab. Anyone with the link can respond while the study is live; no respondent account is needed.
Track your sources
Append ?ref= plus a short tag to the link before sharing, for example ?ref=newsletter or ?ref=twitter. The tag is stored with each conversation and shows up in results and Slack completion alerts, so you can compare channels.
Link previews and languages
When you paste a share link into Slack, LinkedIn, or a chat app, the preview card shows your first question instead of generic Candor branding, so people see what you are asking before they click. Previews pick up question edits shortly after you save them, though some platforms cache old previews on their side for a while.
For a multi-language study, append ?lang= plus a language code to open (and preview) the survey in that language, for example ?lang=es for Spanish. It combines with source tags: ?lang=es&ref=newsletter. Survey pages are marked noindex, so shared links stay out of search engines.
