Troubleshooting
The embed button isn't appearing
Check the snippet placement, the data-study id, and that the study is live.
- Snippet not on the page: view your page's source and confirm the
<script src=".../api/embed.js" ...>tag is present, ideally just before</body>. Site builders sometimes strip script tags; use a custom-code or footer-injection slot. - Wrong or missing `data-study`: the snippet must carry the study id exactly as copied from the Recruit tab. Re-copy the snippet rather than editing it by hand.
- The study is not live: the widget stays hidden for draft and closed studies. Go live and reload.
- A stale cached page: hard-refresh the page after installing the snippet.
