Recruiting respondents
The embed widget
A one-line script that adds a floating feedback button to your site and opens the survey in an overlay.
The Embed on your website card on the Recruit tab provides a one-line snippet: <script src=".../api/embed.js" data-study="..." data-ref="website" async></script>. Paste it before the closing </body> tag of any page.
- The script adds a floating button (default label "Share feedback", customizable) to the page.
- Clicking it opens the survey in a centered overlay, without leaving the page.
data-reftags every response from that page with a source ref (defaultwebsite).- Use Open Demo Page on the card to see the widget running before touching your own site.
The widget only shows the survey while the study is live. Responses through the widget count toward the one-response-per-device limit like any other.
