NPS and study stats

How the score is computed, what counts, and what the dashboard cards show.

For every NPS anchor, Candor reports the standard Net Promoter Score: the percentage of promoters minus the percentage of detractors, rounded to a whole number from -100 to 100.

BucketScoresEffect
Promoters9 to 10Push the score up
Passives7 to 8Count toward the total, do not move the score
Detractors0 to 6Pull the score down

Test conversations are always excluded. The Results tab also shows the weekly response trend, and each dashboard card summarizes the study's status, objective, creation date, activity this month, and total versus completed conversations.

Ranking and conversation depth

Ranking anchors get their own card: options are scored 3/2/1 points for first, second, and third place, with first-place counts alongside, so you see priority order rather than raw popularity. Below the anchor cards, a Conversation depth card appears when some completed conversations stayed shallow, meaning a one-line answer on an open question got no follow-up. If the shallow share is high, raising the follow-up depth in Settings gives the interviewer more room to probe.
