Question types
Four anchor types: NPS (0 to 10), multiple choice, open text, and ranking. Each unlocks different behavior.
| Type | Respondent sees | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| NPS | A row of 0 to 10 score buttons. | NPS scoring on the Results tab, score-aware follow-ups, and the email campaign block (when it is the first anchor). |
| Multiple choice | Your options as buttons, one tap to answer. | Clean option counts in results. |
| Open text | A free-form text box, up to 5,000 characters. | Verbatim answers that feed themes and ask-your-results. |
| Ranking | Your options, tapped in order of priority (top 3 count). | A weighted priority chart in results, so you learn order, not just popularity. |
NPS details
The scale is the standard likelihood-to-recommend question. Scores bucket into detractors (0 to 6), passives (7 to 8), and promoters (9 to 10); the AI interviewer tailors its follow-up to the bucket. Respondents can move along the score row with the keyboard: arrow keys step, Home jumps to 0, End jumps to 10.
Multiple choice details
Add options in the editor with + Add Option and remove or reword them freely while the study is a draft. Options are shown in the order you set.
Open text details
Answers are stored verbatim, up to 5,000 characters. Open answers are the richest input for AI follow-ups and themes, so one well-placed open question often outperforms several closed ones.
Ranking details
Respondents tap options in order of priority; their first three picks count, and they can start over before sending. Results weight each ranking 3/2/1 points for first, second, and third place, and also show how often each option was ranked first. One thing to know: option labels cannot contain the ">" character, since it separates the ranked picks.
